same as others – just delete it if you didn’t sign up as nothing should happen and after so long they should remove the account/email from their database due to the confirm request is ignored.

It is most likely spam or someone else is using your email address to setup an account.

poss someone else could have submitted your email mistakenly or maybe its a spam. Just delete the email and do not click on any link there.

Yahoo will not see, and they can not fix this problem for you by you posting a question on one of their websites. Yahoo is pretty fast at responding to their emails, so send them an email asking about it. Or create a new email address just for MyPoints or something. I have a gmail account, and I get MyPoints emails fine. So you could create a free email account on gmail if you wanted to. I sent you an invite to gmail. Check your inbox.

I asked the same question as I had saved up enough points to purchase a couple of items from Amazon. Here is the reply I received from MyPoints….

I am in the same boat. I have a help ticket in to My Points and I’m just waiting on a reply. I sure hope they will add it back in because I have an order that I’m ready to place and was going to use a Amazon gift cert. from My Points for part of it.

I had a similar experience; I found the Amazon GC on MyPoints last week and was pretty excited.

Today, I found a good deal on Amazon for an item that I wanted to buy, went to MyPoints to get the GC and saw it wasn’t listed. Very disappointed.

Hope it comes back soon.

It could be that they simply ran out of gift card codes and need to reload the system when everyone comes back from vacation next week. At least that it what I am hoping for since my GF and I each have a mypoints acct as well and were counting on getting an Amazon gift cards for our points too.

No, but I’ve used mypoints to redeem for a Wal-Mart gift card and Overstock.com gift cards….I think I may have also used it to redeem for Target gift cards and Barnes & Noble gift cards. The gift cards worked fine.

Also, even though they say it will take 4-6 weeks, I’ve gotten my gift cards within 1-2 weeks after requesting them.

MyPoints is a website where you sign up for an account and do various things to earn points. After earning so many points, you can redeem them for a gift card of your choice. I’m a member and i’ve gotten barnes and noble gift cards, walmart gift cards, amazon gift cards.

The way it works is that they send you emails promoting different things and by visiting that website, you earn 5 points…or you take a survey and you earn 10 points…use the mypoints search bar and earn up to 75 points etc etc etc. You can also go through mypoints when registering for a hotel or making certain purchases and those will also give you a certain number of points. Of course, you don’t HAVE to buy or pay for anything in order to earn points. The majority of the points i’ve earned have been from taking surveys and opening emails.

If you don’t want to do this, mark mypoints emails as spam and call it good.
